Being the largest development bank in the state of Brandenburg ILB offers financing in economic and social infrastructure and housing to wide range of people and businesses. The bank supports change and encourages forward-looking ideas – in Germany and Europe. The new design approach and content optimisation aims to create greater clarity around the many funding programs available.
Site navigation and search were reconsidered in order to provide users many different routes to the bank’s funding programs. The ILB brand and visual style seemed dusty and somewhat bureaucratic, and a bolder typography and photographic concept were the two key ingredients in turning the site design around. The bank’s audience would need to be put at the center of any communication.
